Went to the cemetery. Camera didn't like the batteries and wouldn't turn on. That's okay. It's not exactly autumn in there yet. Maybe next weekend the trees will be all different colours. After getting pictures of that, I will only need the mostly-bare-trees-with-dead-leaves-all-around autumn pictures and more ones of when it snows and then I will have a year of the place in pictures.

Got a flu shot yesterday. My shoulder is sore. I am tired and feeling iffy. Maybe the flu shot will make me slightly sick. Or maybe I am only tired.

I would love so much to sleep right now. I think I will.

Headed to the Equality Rally. I am so going to freak out those people that stand around with signs claiming homosexuality is a sin, AIDS is God's punishment on gays, etc. I'm not gay...but I think everyone should have equal rights. My one friend who's part of her schools GSA (gay-straight alliance) invited me to come with her and a bunch of other people. I kinda figure that if these people with their homophobic signs are going to preach to me, I'm going to preach to them. After all, NOWHERE IN THE TEN COMMANDMENTS DOES IT SAY "DON'T BE GAY", and Jesus did say, "Come as you are". Pisses me off how people take a message of love and interpret it with hate. That's why a lot of people hate Christians the way they do. The ones who preach fear of God and constant punishment ruin it for everyone.

Well, we missed the rally. Our train was around ten minutes late pulling into the station, and it had some delays on the way there, making it arrive a half hour later than it should have. We also were given the incorrect time and the rally had been over for a bit once we got to where it was supposed to be. A few people were still standing around, but there was no more rallying, no obnoxious fundamentalists hanging around, nothing. We walked several blocks to a bakery, discovered they didn't have any pastries we wanted, went to Panda Express, stopped at Barnes and Noble, then got on the next train and went home. It pretty much sucked. I mean, it got me out of the house, but we couldn't even do what we came for.
